Tomás Lecanda kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tage Pålsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Patov's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Pålsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tage Pålsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th match minute, Team E.C Dahls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Juul to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Team E.C Dahls's Rudolf Helberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Tage Pålsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute FC Patov were awarded a corner. Fiori Rosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Tage Pålsson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With an all-out effort, FC Patov's Dennis Arvidsson threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tage Pålsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th match minute, FC Patov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Papon to maneuver through the defense. Team E.C Dahls's Øivind Lier was substituted for Stian Jeppesen. The supporters of Team E.C Dahls booed when FC Patov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Papon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team E.C Dahls's goalkeeper Dennis Arvidsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Kai-Arne Sortland elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Team E.C Dahls fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Patov had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
