When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl-Rune Strandheim made a kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iver Grønnevik charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iver Grønnevik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Carl-Rune Strandheim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC XY's Peter Adamek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC XY eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
