In the 9th minute, Lúcio Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Thorvaldsson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Guilherme Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Rufo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genko Balevski went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Paiva in the 24th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Ulysses Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hulk Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Rufo having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Hulk Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Rufo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Hulk Fenomeno scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rufo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genko Balevski to strike the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Hulk Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo got control of the ball when Ulysses Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cesinha Leme hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Genko Balevski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Nova Erechim - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Edin Džeko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Amor was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Paiva. Genko Balevski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeo Rufo came out and tried to block the shot, but Genko Balevski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. After 94 minutes of play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
