In the 14th minute of the match, Jean Fernandez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Matos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guga Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luciano Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EDI MZB's Edi Souza got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cléber Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Matos. EDI MZB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Gustavo Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Diego Petrini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Pedrinho do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Caco Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EDI MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho do Valle got free with Luciano Matos in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Petrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EDI MZB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aníbal Velasco in the 37th minute. EDI MZB's Luciano Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Britto in the 39th minute of play. Jean Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Luciano Matos made a huge save. With a little luck, EDI MZB's Luciano Matos got control of the ball when Pedrinho do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Andrade to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pedrinho do Valle hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Pedrinho do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pedrinho do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho do Valle couldn't finish the play. In the 61stth minute of the game Jean Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EDI MZB's Luciano Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Petrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Mota in the 65th minute of the match. Caco Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when José Breckenfeld came free, but Luciano Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Tony Seco was substituted for Dudu Britto. After 71 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Caco Mota. Jean Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Luciano Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.. Luciano Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho do Valle in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Pisarcik came free, but Diego Petrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Fernandez in the 80th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Luciano Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EDI MZB's goalkeeper Luciano Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caco Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. EDI MZB's Telmo Bueno was substituted for Evandro Maia. In the 88th minute, Caco Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Matos came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Jean Fernandez. But to his dismay, Jean Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching EDI MZB's performance. The match ended with a win for EDI MZB.
