In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Romeu da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jereba 4EVER's Romeu da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Couto in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Brodel in the 18th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Dieguinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieguinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Albuquerque in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Jereba 4EVER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GeRaÇãO-83 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
