After 14 played minutes Jereba 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Paes. Romeu da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Brodel came free, but Jorge Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jereba 4EVER's Elivélton Albuquerque got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juninho Eger got free with Romeu da Cunha in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeu Novaes got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abelardo Brodel. In the 45th match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Balasi to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Netto to make the kick off. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 96 minutes, Juninho Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
