In the 9th minute Dimas Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Merski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Merski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimas Amaro in the 9th minute of play. Witalis Merski came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by POPODARA F.C's Dimas Amaro. But to his dismay, Dimas Amaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Kellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Revheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Kellberg in the 22nd minute of play. If Thomas Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Sune Kellberg in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Johansson in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of POPODARA F.C booed when Pattaya Dolphins F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Hammarbäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Thomas Revheim managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Sune Kellberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sune Kellberg in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Revheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half POPODARA F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sune Kellberg was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Thomas Revheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimas Amaro got free with Witalis Merski in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Kellberg in the 74th minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pattaya Dolphins F.C's zone, Dimas Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Merski came out of the goal and Dimas Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. POPODARA F.C made a substitution. Ruperto Gonza replaced Dimas Amaro. A collision led to Pattaya Dolphins F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Karl-Michael Hammarbäck hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Sune Kellberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Revheim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Ruperto Gonza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witalis Merski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. POPODARA F.C made a substitution. Morten Ekeland replaced Dorel Ilinca. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. POPODARA F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
