Micah Childers was slow to take the kick. During this time Colorado Springs F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Micah Childers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Llorian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 5th minute Eduard Hourani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Stafford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Eduard Hourani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Stafford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in GARIBALDI FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! GARIBALDI FC:s Rene Llorian showed great skill when he stopped Micah Childers:s penalty. Jorge Stafford came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain. But to his dismay, Lázaro Ekain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, GARIBALDI FC's Darío Eagles got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Lázaro Ekain made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Stafford. Colorado Springs F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerard Lehman during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GARIBALDI FC booed when Colorado Springs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Lehman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Stafford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Koehler in the 47th minute of play forced Colorado Springs F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Stafford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Colorado Springs F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GARIBALDI FC were winning 0-4.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colorado Springs F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Stafford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Micah Childers in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GARIBALDI FC's Dedê Koehler. Dedê Koehler took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Stafford. Jorge Stafford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Lázaro Ekain got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dedê Koehler struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jorge Stafford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARIBALDI FC. The supporters of Colorado Springs F.C. booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Eagles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Enoch Mallory's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Llorian was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Colorado Springs F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Stafford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Ekain. GARIBALDI FC's attentive Dedê Koehler managed to snatch the ball when Micah Childers made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Enoch Mallory cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Rene Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rene Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. Murdock in the 84th minute of the match. Rene Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Murdock, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Lázaro Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jorge Stafford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GARIBALDI FC played a much better game than Colorado Springs F.C. and deserved their victory. The Colorado Springs F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
