With a little luck, Colorado Springs F.C.'s Jorge Stafford got control of the ball when Guilherme Zurbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Murdock in the 17th minute of play forced TITO FC's goalkeeper Andrew Ezcurra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murdock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TITO FC's Andrew Ezcurra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, TITO FC's Palben Ahijado got a free kick in the 40th minute. Andrew Ezcurra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enoch Mallory in the 43rd minute of the match. Jorge Stafford didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Palben Ahijado made a kick off. The supporters of TITO FC booed when Colorado Springs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendon Calhoun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Guilherme Zurbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrew Ezcurra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Murdock, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Palben Ahijado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Stafford having to interfere. Micah Childers kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Micah Childers's late challenge caught a TITO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
