Palmares Futebol Clube's João Carlos Antunes was substituted for Jarbas Porto. The supporters of Palmares Futebol Clube booed when OS IMPOSSIVEIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Dário Moreira from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Frederico Pirani's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thomás Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes Palmares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Ferreira. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palmares Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
