Haryanto Haryanto-Ie hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jacinto Neves made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dorian Moraes immediately put the ball in play. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Zanette in the 22nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Robert Serwacki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfredo Martins came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guilherme Zanette could save by the left post. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moussa Kabre was slow to take the kick. During this time Marquês de Herval's players had a chance to rest. Dida Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Cláudio Caniggia in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Marquês de Herval's Toby Major. 40 minutes into the match, André Luís Zanette notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette got control of the ball when Dorian Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Zanette in the 46th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Luís Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as André Luís Zanette kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dida Taffarel. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. André Luís Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Taffarel having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Zanette got free with Dida Taffarel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alfredo Martins hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Selami Rezan in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Aldo Munio. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Jon Grøneng got a free kick in the 84th minute. Wambasther Sneijder came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dida Taffarel could save by the left post. In the 93rd match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Grøneng to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
