After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for E.C.Pelotas! Lionel Ronaldo's late challenge caught a Poetass FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time E.C.Pelotas's players had a chance to rest. Witold Bronicki kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Sobhy Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Brysz in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Wilhelm Rolfsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalle Billberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Sobhy Paredes 31 minutes into the match. José Maria Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Leon in the 35th minute of play.

Wilhelm Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Witalis Brysz scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sobhy Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kalle Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Jon-Egil Schjelderup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sobhy Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeng Xu Yuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sobhy Paredes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeng Xu Yuan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Witalis Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sobhy Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.C.Pelotas's Sobhy Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Witalis Brysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeng Xu Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89thth minute of the game Wilhelm Rolfsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sobhy Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
