Juvenal Talló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niilo Mikkola in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Macedo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Juvenal Talló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niilo Mikkola in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Bene Animatus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Niilo Mikkola came free, but Juvenal Talló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leif Törnqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Talló having to interfere. Leandro Fonseca scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinei Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Leif Törnqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SeleSantos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 43 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Perez. Niilo Mikkola, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Bene Animatus's Luan Pena got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bene Animatus's zone, Niilo Mikkola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Talló came out of the goal and Niilo Mikkola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jardel Velloso was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Velloso in the 54th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Talló showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Törnqvist in the 56th minute of the match. Niilo Mikkola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Juvenal Talló made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Casado in the 61st minute of play forced Bene Animatus's goalkeeper Juvenal Talló to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Talló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Leif Törnqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juvenal Talló saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jardel Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Velloso came free, but Dinei Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Törnqvist in the 78th minute of play. Leif Törnqvist scored 1-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Talló, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Leandro Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 96th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SeleSantos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
