The referee ignored Carrapichel - FDFDF's protests and gave Fábio Umrihin a yellow card for diving instead. Gildo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Sobral in the 32nd minute of the match. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Carrapichel - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Cris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cris Gol got free with Gildo Simões in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cris Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gildo Simões made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Gildo Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gildo Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Predador Brasiliense MZBR fully deserved thier win.
