Jerônimo Maranhense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeo Jakobe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Wallengren got free with Jerônimo Maranhense in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Mattias Wallengren notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense. Jerônimo Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matheus Pitta replaced Oliver Veentjer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Jakobe in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes of play, Nitra FC's Williams Ferrari made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Estavan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Williams Ferrari scored 3-4 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Estavan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Newell´s's Amancio Bilintx was substituted for Mattias Wallengren. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 3-4.

The wind increased when Tadeo Jakobe made the kick off in the second half. Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Estavan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nando Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Estavan was a little too slow when Williams Ferrari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 3-5. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Charles Pimenta got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Pinho got free with Cristobal Estavan in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Jakobe in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Cristobal Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Pimenta in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Jakobe in the 80th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Williams Ferrari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerônimo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Nitra FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Newell´s throughout the match.
