Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacintu Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xacintu Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerônimo Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xacintu Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Xacintu Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xacintu Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacintu Ribeiro got free with Jerônimo Maranhense in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes Xacintu Ribeiro rounded Nitra FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Atlético Bucaramanga's Jerson Gonzales was substituted for Yulian Tzambov. Patrik Øskan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Williams Ferrari, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Xacintu Ribeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Jerônimo Maranhense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atlético Bucaramanga's Adam Czubski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gilvan Bueno, made in the 66th minute of the game. With his leg Jerônimo Maranhense managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Atlético Bucaramanga's Xacintu Ribeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Octav Novac tried in the 70th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Jerônimo Maranhense a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-3. Jerônimo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Xacintu Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Xacintu Ribeiro let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 74th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. 83 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's Xacintu Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xacintu Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jerônimo Maranhense made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xacintu Ribeiro came free, but Jerônimo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Nitra FC from getting a goal against them. The Atlético Bucaramanga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
