Vorwärts Lübeck's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when 李煜 Wu scored to the left of an out of position Jochen Doll, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sonstorps Fotboll's 李煜 Wu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jochen Doll. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 20th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carol Wojtyla to maneuver through the defense. Vorwärts Lübeck's David Woltering managed to work through Sonstorps Fotboll's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. David Woltering dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thaddäus Hänsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, 李煜 Wu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jochen Doll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adrian Billberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Woltering, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 李煜 Wu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jochen Doll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Ignacio Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork 李煜 Wu arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-0 by the left pole in the game's 34th minute. In the 39th minute Carol Wojtyla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Doll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Ignacio Donostia made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vorwärts Lübeck's Jochen Doll tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sebastian Bobbenkamp fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorwärts Lübeck's protests and gave Sebastian Bobbenkamp a yellow card for diving instead. Sonstorps Fotboll made a substitution. Eddie Åberg replaced Mark Dahlberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, 李煜 Wu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sonstorps Fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but 李煜 Wu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jochen Doll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 李煜 Wu to make the kick off. If Ignacio Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sonstorps Fotboll's Ignacio Donostia in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vorwärts Lübeck's goalie prevented a goal. Sonstorps Fotboll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Donostia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Ignacio Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorwärts Lübeck's Jochen Doll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddie Åberg scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jochen Doll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 李煜 Wu scored 6-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jochen Doll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76thth minute of the game Ignacio Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorwärts Lübeck's Jochen Doll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82nd play minutes Ignacio Donostia shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Jochen Doll and just under the crossbar into goal. Ignacio Donostia took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jochen Doll. Jochen Doll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Jochen Doll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Folker Witzke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonstorps Fotboll walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
