After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Christophe Montaigne got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Kader Miguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Christophe Montaigne came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christophe Montaigne couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Christophe Montaigne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cats and dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Christophe Montaigne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Utfal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Christophe Montaigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Utfal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Montaigne in the 19th minute of play. Carl Utfal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Montaigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Kader Miguet came free, but Carl Utfal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Cats and dogs from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Jon Haraldsson got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Gaétan Toullec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taavet Rannik. In the 39th minute Christophe Montaigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Cats and dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sébastien Romero to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Tönnberg was the one to do the kick off. Christophe Montaigne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Utfal having to make a save. Gaétan Toullec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Dahlberg in the 58th minute of the match. Tony Jérémie kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee gave Sonstorps Fotboll a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mark Dahlberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec. 2-0. In the 68th minute, Christophe Montaigne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kader Miguet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carl Utfal came out and tried to block the shot, but Kader Miguet slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 75th minute. Carl Utfal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kader Miguet in the 79th minute of play. Sercan Refet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Sercan Refet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Tony Jérémie got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes, Sonstorps Fotboll's Mark Dahlberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaétan Toullec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sonstorps Fotboll reached it. Carl Utfal made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Christophe Montaigne sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Carl Utfal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 96 minutes, Christophe Montaigne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cats and dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christophe Montaigne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sonstorps Fotboll had won after a very even match.
