Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Collen in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Basso in the 6th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Francisco-Javier Campo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Huracan's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco-Javier Campo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halil Utku Evvah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to C.A Huracan getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Francisco-Javier Campo hit a great ball. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Sabino in the 30th minute of the match. Lê Gante was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. Lê Gante kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Sven Skark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Beșliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dave Basso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Sagan made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lars Helgerud however managed to control. If Dave Basso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Narcis Bunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco-Javier Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Basso was the one to do the kick off. 崔广真 made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cornel Zbuchea. Nechifor Beșliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Skark having to interfere. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Toader Bogrea replaced Nechifor Beșliu. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Basso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Halil Utku Evvah came out and tried to block the shot, but Dave Basso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Dave Basso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Halil Utku Evvah. Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boruc Domarecki made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 崔广真.
