In the 23rd match minute, Majestic Club FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ugaitz Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Punta in the 25th minute of play forced Majestic Club FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Manu Kanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Piczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Majestic Club FC booed when Centenario City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frasco Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Piczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Majestic Club FC's Cezary Awizo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lorenzo Boo, made in the 40th minute of the game. Edmund Piczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Bras in the 41st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Lorenzo Boo in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Majestic Club FC's Cezary Awizo. With a little luck, Centenario City FC's Edmund Piczak got control of the ball when Manu Kanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Bras was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Manu Kanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Majestic Club FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manu Kanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Piczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Majestic Club FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Pelayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Majestic Club FC's Manu Kanu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frasco Ferreira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arsenio Pelayo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Majestic Club FC's Arsenio Pelayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Majestic Club FC from getting a goal against them.
