Rigan Frankson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Roma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Rolan McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Leão in the 16th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo-Luis Butcher took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ter Stegen. Amadeo Roma made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Rigan Frankson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Deportivo Rodriguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezra Shepard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Roma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torrey Molloy in the 92nd minute of the match. If Rene Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Rudy Lukas got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Rodriguez players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 1948 MKS.
