An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 37th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goal made the score 1-2. La Bichineta's attentive Octavio Nueva managed to snatch the ball when Benedicto Atarratze made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute Edgar Wijngaart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Iigo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nicolás Tauber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Bichineta.
