The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camilo Salvidor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandu Mândrilă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Constantijn De Hond recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Salvidor. Constantijn De Hond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 19 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Cordaryal. Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamen Tekeliev's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 27th minute of the match. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 28th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor got control of the ball when Stamen Tekeliev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Lucas Martínez Quarta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira did a great save. Tomas Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Playa Malvín:s Zé Roberto Teixeira showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Martínez Quarta:s penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A sloppy throw-in by Tomas Cordaryal in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gabriele Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Mândrilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Mândrilă in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Salvidor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Sandu Mândrilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Camilo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Josu Onez replaced Jabier Igual. Menchu FC's Gaston Firmo was substituted for Uriel Gorri. Gaston Firmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Playa Malvín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Martínez Quarta was slow to take the kick. During this time Menchu FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 83rd minute, Quinto Ampudia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Playa Malvín fans cheered their team off the field, for while Menchu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
