After a rather tough play, Tomb Raider FC's Sydney Porto got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Oliveira came free, but João Pedro Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Tomb Raider FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Berger. Eriberto Arósio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos de Lara came free, but João Pedro Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Cordeiro in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute Pedro Luiz Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Van Hoeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Linares in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Meirelles saved Tomb Raider FC from getting behind. THANDERA® FCCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Arósio in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Arósio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Pedro Meirelles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantijn Schoovaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luiz Cordeiro in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Van Hoeij saved THANDERA® FCCMZ from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Marquinhos de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emanuel Van Hoeij stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. A collision led to THANDERA® FCCMZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Paulo José da Mata hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Palmeira in the 58th minute of play forced THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Meirelles having to interfere. If Váldson Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's goalkeeper João Pedro Meirelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Linares. After a rather tough play, Tomb Raider FC's Aírton Nogueira got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Eriberto Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balthazar Minnen in the 75th minute of the match. João Pedro Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Claudinei Linares took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for João Pedro Meirelles to make any attempt to save it. Claudinei Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but João Pedro Meirelles made a huge save. With his leg João Pedro Meirelles managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Pedro Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Linares in the 83rd minute. The supporters of THANDERA® FCCMZ booed when Tomb Raider FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Palmeira in the 90th minute of play forced THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo José da Mata in the 91st minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balthazar Minnen in the 96th minute of play. THANDERA® FCCMZ played a much better game than Tomb Raider FC and deserved their victory. The Tomb Raider FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
