Frank Thorwart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Freire having to interfere. Glenn Danzig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 17th match minute, ☠ Metal Militia ☠ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pier Meyer to maneuver through the defense. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tomás Rosado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Glenn Danzig but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Blomkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wanderson Freire was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Wanderson Freire came out of the goal and Nils-Emil Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Nils-Emil Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ☠ Metal Militia ☠ booed when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball.
