When Claudio Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Quiroga couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Valencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Apostol Sokolov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Varas. A collision led to ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. 倪国庭 hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Arnulfo Valencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Claudio Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinand Johnson. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Quiroga came free, but Ferdinand Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ferdinand Johnson made a huge save. In the 46th match minute, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogerio Oblak to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Valencia in the 52nd minute of the match. Leopoldo Boniel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Artemio Varas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Claudio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinand Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Valencia in the 61st minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostol Sokolov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy Tholsted in the 64th minute. Ferdinand Johnson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Quiroga went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Artal Burualla took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Apostol Sokolov to make any attempt to save it. Apostol Sokolov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artal Burualla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ were awarded a corner. 倪国庭 went to the cornerflag to take it. Monitor Huáscar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
