In the 34th minute, Cássio Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Eliu in the 37th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Eulalio Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tulio Contratas in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Celipe during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 82 in the game by Hortêncio Linhares from a close distance when the talented Ladislao Maurino managed to make a qualified save. El Azulgrana's players were relieved. Emerson Cruz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Linharess short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Ladislao Maurino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eulalio Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Eliu in the 94th minute of play.
