Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Zosimo Vadillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Rio. Argentinean Patriots 1816's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zosimo Vadillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Ben-Ami Ranchin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Homøe, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Jerano got free with Isidoro Rio in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bello Cura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jean Van Damme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Rio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Jerano in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben-Ami Ranchin made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Pekka Rollins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 64th minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Jerano in the 65th minute of play. Isidoro Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zosimo Vadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zosimo Vadillo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Rio saved Argentinean Patriots 1816 from getting behind. Bello Cura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argentinean Patriots 1816 made a substitution. Cristo Bastiaro replaced Baldomiro Ospetsu. In the 72nd minute, Zosimo Vadillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ben-Ami Ranchin came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean Van Damme could save by the left post. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Gustavo Birila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Zosimo Vadillo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zosimo Vadillo couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the game, Ben-Ami Ranchin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jean Van Damme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Noé Nouveau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Jerano in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Papillon AC had played much better football throughout.
