Papillon AC's Florin Lopatnicu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Prospero Inguma, made in the 4th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 16th minute of the match. La Acade's Leonard Lamczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kip William might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean Van Damme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kip William ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip William, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Lamczyk in the 22nd minute of the match. La Acade's Teófilo Amaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean Van Damme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Prospero Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Modestio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Blas Aritza made a huge save. Kip William might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean Van Damme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kip William ran back to his position shaking his head. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip William in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Kip William notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 42 minutes, Leonard Lamczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Acade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Lamczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teófilo Amaro to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Birila missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Blas Aritza right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kip William to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, La Acade's Jean Van Damme threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kip William, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kip William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute of the game Benedicto Pacho made a throw-in which Zosimo Vadillo played forward. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Kip William got a free kick in the 59th minute. Jean Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip William, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Kip William managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Kip William was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Van Damme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Papillon AC made a substitution. Sergio Jerano replaced Leonides Modestio. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Avram didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Zosimo Vadillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Blas Aritza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th play minute Kip William came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jean Van Damme. 1-2. La Acade's Felipe Saturnin was substituted for Kip William. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Saturnin in the 79th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 81st minute of the match. Sergio Jerano took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Aritza. Blas Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The La Acade players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Papillon AC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
