Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Martins to make the kick off. The supporters of México Eterno MZC booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selami Rezan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jailson Aparecido made a huge save. Richart Richardsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Taffarel having to make a save. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richart Richardsson in the 91st minute of play. Jailson Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Martins in the 93rd minute of the match. México Eterno MZC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
