Chicão Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar do Valle. Mauro Paulista struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaroslaw Niezgoda to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Jaroslaw Niezgoda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Compostela FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Niezgoda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chicão Cerezo in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Niezgoda couldn't finish the play. Nilmar do Valle lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Loramendi. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them.
