Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renato Penha got the match started through his kick off. Talha İstanbul took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Peixoto. Rui Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Talha İstanbul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 11th minute of the match. When Dobromir Brudnicki came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cöpacabana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Brudnicki couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute of the match Talha İstanbul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Peixoto skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Cöpacabana FC booed when Diamond Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talha İstanbul took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Peixoto. Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th minute Renato Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Diamond Football Club's Nando Brasil got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Vito Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when Cöpacabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Diamond Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Leite came free, but Rui Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talha İstanbul in the 29th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Rui Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Dobromir Brudnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Peixoto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cöpacabana FC's Vito Leite. But to his dismay, Vito Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Cöpacabana FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fabrício Berger hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Dobromir Brudnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Diamond Football Club defense, Vito Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Peixoto. The Diamond Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Rui Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Boman in the 47th minute of play. The Diamond Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cöpacabana FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Vito Leite made the kick off in the second half. Rui Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto got control of the ball when Vito Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Vito Leite notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto. Rui Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rui Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 58th minute of the match. Cöpacabana FC's Stig-Åke Benet was substituted for Vito Leite. Rui Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Åke Benet in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Benet in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Cöpacabana FC's corner Talha İstanbul fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rui Peixoto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Peixoto. The goal made the score 0-8. Diamond Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Stig-Åke Benet scored to the left of an out of position Rui Peixoto, making the score, 0-9. Diamond Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Dobromir Brudnicki scored to the left of an out of position Rui Peixoto, making the score, 0-11. Cöpacabana FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
