In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match Alvi Verde got a corner. Academia Santista CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilbert Ugalde ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cuero Buseth in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gu Zhan Wei saved Academia Santista CIMZ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuero Buseth in the 23rd minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Karlsson in the 24th minute of play. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvi Verde's Wilbert Ugalde. But to his dismay, Wilbert Ugalde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29thth minute of the game Cuero Buseth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbert Ugalde in the 31st minute of play. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Karlsson in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, Bert Karlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. If Bert Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Mineiro. In the 38th minute of the match Peker Suersan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gu Zhan Wei skillfully saved the ball. After 41 minutes Academia Santista CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilbert Ugalde who took care of the corner kick. Alvi Verde's Rodolfo Perfecto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gu Zhan Wei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Frank de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvi Verde's Wilbert Ugalde got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuero Buseth in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cuero Buseth was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Almeida to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cuero Buseth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Perfecto in the 54th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Zhan Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbert Ugalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gu Zhan Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Perfecto's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th play minute Bert Karlsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gu Zhan Wei. 0-5. Alvi Verde's Bert Karlsson pulled a muscle in his back after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 69 minutes, Carlos Augusto Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Santista CIMZ and the Alvi Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Carlos Augusto Novaes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gu Zhan Wei made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Almir Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbert Ugalde in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match, Almir Alagoano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gu Zhan Wei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almir Alagoano got free with Gu Zhan Wei in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvinho Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Peixoto. During the 81st minute of the match Carlos Augusto Novaes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Augusto Novaes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Perfecto in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Cuero Buseth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gu Zhan Wei, 0-7. Rodolfo Perfecto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gu Zhan Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvi Verde. Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Rodolfo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Alvi Verde could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academia Santista CIMZ throughout the match.
