The tension between the OS IMPOSSIVEIS and the Marquês de Herval players grew even worse after the yellow card. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Paraibano in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when OS IMPOSSIVEIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orxan Alişanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky Williamson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. But to his dismay, Alfredo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfredo Martins scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicky Williamson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Lucas Lopez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jon Grøneng in the 38 minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Witold Gotfryd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicky Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Alfredo Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicky Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute of the match, Alfredo Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicky Williamson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute OS IMPOSSIVEIS were awarded a corner. Lucas Lopez went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on OS IMPOSSIVEIS's corner Lucas Lopez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dida Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Gotfryd, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nicky Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Cano in the 59th minute of the match. Marquês de Herval's German Cano got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the game Toby Major made a throw-in which Nestor Paraibano played forward. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 67th minute of play. German Cano had several of the OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Nicky Williamson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé de Toledo in the 80th minute of the match. Alfredo Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Nicky Williamson made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Alfredo Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicky Williamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Nicky Williamson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Alfredo Martins sent off a good shot on target. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Dedé de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Lopez came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marquês de Herval eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
