Ernesto Favoretto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The audience was convinced that George Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Favoretto was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Ernesto Favoretto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Ekeroth. George Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ernesto Favoretto made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Three Lions FC's Gunnar Ekeroth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Three Lions FC's George Messi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Favoretto. That made the score 5-2 after 37 minutes of play. Ernesto Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, Three Lions FC's Gunnar Ekeroth made it 11-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Favoretto was left in no man's land by his defense there! He walked away shaking his head. Ernesto Favoretto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Messi went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-2 was the resulting score.
