Three Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardo Custódio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to MINEIROS's 尹森泉 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 13th minute Mário Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Maradona in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of MINEIROS booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Filanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Maradona's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Messi in the 26th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Thommy Jadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mário Maradona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Three Lions FC's George Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, 尹森泉 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. George Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gunnar Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Ekeroth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thommy Jadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44thth minute of the game Mário Maradona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Three Lions FC's George Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. Thommy Jadis came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Three Lions FC's Gunnar Ekeroth. But to his dismay, Gunnar Ekeroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Three Lions FC's zone, Ricardo Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Buffon came out of the goal and Ricardo Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thommy Jadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Messi in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Messi in the 61st minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Thommy Jadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thommy Jadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by 尹森泉. MINEIROS's Smail Larbi was substituted for Clóvis Rezende. MINEIROS made a substitution. Martin Petráš replaced Ricardo Custódio. George Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Three Lions FC were the better team. Three Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
