Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison Bergkamp in the 21st minute of play. Deilmison Bergkamp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Peixoto came out and tried to block the shot, but Deilmison Bergkamp slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Rui Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Acácio da Silva sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute Deilmison Bergkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Campidelis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Deilmison Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Barral in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison Bergkamp in the 36th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Rui Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deilmison Bergkamp in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Diamond Football Club defense, Deilmison Bergkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Peixoto. The Diamond Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Luciano Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison Bergkamp in the 63rd minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Rui Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio da Silva in the 86th minute of the match.
