Mário Maradona started the match with the kick off. Mário Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deilmison Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's Mário Maradona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deilmison Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mário Maradona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deilmison Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Maradona in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Adriano Diaz got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mário Maradona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Deilmison Yashin made a huge save. After 33 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Custódio. Deilmison Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer Vianna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Deilmison Yashin firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Mário Maradona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Deilmison Yashin. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. MINEIROS's Mário Maradona got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deilmison Bergkamp was the one to do the kick off. MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MINEIROS from getting a goal against them. Deilmison Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Maradona in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, MINEIROS's Mário Maradona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deilmison Yashin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 63 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's Mário Maradona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deilmison Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MINEIROS's Bon Čáp was substituted for Mário Maradona. MINEIROS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Custódio in the 65th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Humberto Severo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 66 minutes into the match. MINEIROS made a substitution. Smail Larbi replaced Clóvis Rezende. Deilmison Yashin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bon Čáp went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When MINEIROS's Bon Čáp in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bon Čáp in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deilmison Yashin saved ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ from getting behind. In the 77thth minute of the game Bon Čáp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Adriano Diaz hit a great ball. Deilmison Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bon Čáp, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of MINEIROS booed when ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's Bon Čáp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deilmison Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bon Čáp in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Bon Čáp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute Bon Čáp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deilmison Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MINEIROS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
