Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toninho Madureira took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Toninho Madureira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Breno Machado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Madureira got free with Breno Machado in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Jung 1972's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Édouard Deloge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Toninho Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Taraborrelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When João da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jung 1972's protests and gave João da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Jung 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Madureira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Édouard Deloge in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toninho Madureira in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Breno Machado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Édouard Deloge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Machado having to interfere. With his leg Breno Machado managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the game, Édouard Deloge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Breno Machado. Édouard Deloge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jung 1972's zone, Édouard Deloge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Machado came out of the goal and Édouard Deloge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to BOTAFOGO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nilmar Correia hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duda Arantes to make the kick off. Claudinei Sanches hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alfonso Taraborrelli made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Willian Maciel sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th match minute, Jung 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João da Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Toninho Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOTAFOGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Toninho Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno Machado. Jung 1972's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Breno Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Édouard Deloge in the 62nd minute of play. Édouard Deloge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breno Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Toninho Madureira succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Breno Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toninho Madureira went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Jaanek Oese came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the BOTAFOGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaanek Oese couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Jaanek Oese cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Breno Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Édouard Deloge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breno Machado having to make a save. BOTAFOGO's Édouard Deloge got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
