Rafael Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Christian Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Salazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Mejia kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Christian Diaz took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Salazar. Eraldo Salazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eliseo Díaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Peralta having to interfere. Andrés Mejia's late challenge caught a Carta Vieja F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrés Mejia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carta Vieja F.C. booed when Banditos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Mejia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carta Vieja F.C.'s Andres Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Guerra in the 42nd minute of play. Sebastián Villalobos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastián Villalobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carta Vieja F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Navarro in the 90th minute of play forced Carta Vieja F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Carta Vieja F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Eguzki to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, Banditos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Villalobos to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Banditos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carta Vieja F.C..
