An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Lozano in the 23rd minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Oscar Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Castillero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Gherase's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Chavez got free with Oscar Frascuelo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Gherase came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulin Abecia in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Castillero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 43rd minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Luis Castillero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Paulin Abecia made a precise shot to the right of Luis Castillero. Flamengo de San Blás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The Octavia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
