Spectators: 208 (Terracing: 156, Seating: 48, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dário Diniz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermes Centella in the 4th minute of the match. After 6 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Ignazio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Ignazio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute of the match Club Deportivo Águila got a corner. C.A. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dong Hui Yue ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dário Diniz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Ignazio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedro Morales took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Guimarães. Gustavo Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ramon Gomez's late challenge caught a C.A. Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Gomez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dário Diniz in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonas Ignazio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Águila. Gustavo Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermes Centella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Ignazio made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dário Diniz sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes, Dário Diniz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Independiente's Jonas Ignazio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Pedro Morales made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 35 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Diniz came free, but Jonas Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Diniz in the 36th minute of play. Club Deportivo Águila were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after C.A. Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dong Hui Yue took the corner. 40 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Ignazio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Luchito Centella kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermes Centella in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Morales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dário Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 54 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Oporto. C.A. Independiente's Zula Czech was substituted for Hermes Centella. In the 67th minute Dário Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Ignazio came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz. But to his dismay, Dário Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Club Deportivo Águila's Angel Velis was substituted for Ricky Koppens. After 73 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Águila's Ivan Viscarra made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Ignazio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 played minutes, Club Deportivo Águila's Manuel Reyes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Ignazio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Águila reached it. A collision led to C.A. Independiente getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jesus Zuazo hit a great ball. Gustavo Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Luchito Gómez sent off a good shot on target. When Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Jonas Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Viscarra in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Club Deportivo Águila were the better team. Club Deportivo Águila's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
