With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Söderqvist in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Paulista saved Guatitlan from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Iigo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 温竞海 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Despite being the better team, Barrio Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
