Marcelinho Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sayveon Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Abechuco in the 10th minute of play forced Guatitlan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Los Kollas's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Asad came free, but Panos Papadimidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriu Timaru's late challenge caught a Los Kollas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriu Timaru helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guatitlan's Valeriu Timaru got a free kick in the 15th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Rolando Abeita in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guatitlan's Liviu Mitroi. Panos Papadimidis came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Guatitlan's Félix Pinho. But to his dismay, Félix Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Predrag Nograšek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Kollas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Salvador Vasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Llope Abad hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Panos Papadimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Pedrozo in the 31st minute of play. Sayveon Abad took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Paulista. Marcelinho Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Predrag Nograšek put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelinho Paulista. Salvador Vasquez helped the player get up and apologised. Rolando Abeita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Predrag Nograšek was the one to do the kick off. Marcelinho Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sayveon Abad in the 51st minute of play. 51 minutes into the game, Félix Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatitlan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Kollas the free kick. Félix Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Liviu Mitroi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Predrag Nograšek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelinho Paulista, 1-5. Guatitlan's Marcelinho Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sayveon Abad in the 59th minute of play. Marcelinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayveon Abad in the 61st minute of the match. Guatitlan's Marcelinho Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Guatitlan from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Valeriu Timaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agostinho Abechuco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Paulista made a huge save. After 73 minutes Guatitlan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolando Abeita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Los Kollas's Rolando Abeita to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelinho Paulista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Los Kollas's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Pinho came free, but Panos Papadimidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Félix Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Papadimidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Los Kollas booed when Guatitlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Vasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Sayveon Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Kollas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sayveon Abad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayveon Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Los Kollas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guatitlan throughout the match.
