Spectators: 202 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when David Pimentel got the match started through his kick off. Aaron Freeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erick Palencia in the 4th minute of the match. Alvaro Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Barros in the 9th minute of play. Arturo Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aaron Freeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Pimentel in the 14th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Luisito Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Barros's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute Erick Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Freeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Rivass short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Aaron Freeman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 29 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Pedrozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Baptista. Maitros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Pedrozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Maitros FC defense, Luisito Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Baptista. The Maitros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Baptista should have stopped the shot. Alvaro Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Barros in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Maitros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Pedrozo came free, but Alvaro Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Maitros FC booed when Red Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Escalante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Red Star were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Maitros FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Orobio. The long shot by Luisito Barros in the 51st minute really tested Alvaro Baptista's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 52nd minute Guillermo Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Freeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Claudio Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes, Maitros FC's Rolando Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Freeman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maitros FC reached it. Luisito Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Baptista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Barrera during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maitros FC's Omar Barrera got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Erick Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Freeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Freeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Pimentel in the 61st minute of play. After 64 minutes, Luisito Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Star and the Maitros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Red Star's Luisito Barros got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute Erick Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Freeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Freeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erick Palencia in the 71st minute of play. If Arturo Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Baptista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Maitros FC's Nelson Navas got a free kick in the 77th minute. Nelson Navas hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Abraham Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Star's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Palencia in the 82nd minute of play forced Red Star's goalkeeper Aaron Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Machado in the 84th minute of play. Abraham Machado struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alvaro Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Star. Abraham Machado kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 87thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Maitros FC's keeper Alvaro Baptista was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Abraham Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alvaro Baptista made a huge save. Alvaro Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Machado's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Red Star's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petru Cismaș in the 98th minute. The corner led Red Star's Petru Cismaș to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Baptista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Maitros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red Star's performance. The match ended with a win for Red Star.
