Cristian Machado hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Poulton-Le-Fylde United got a freekick which was hit by Milton Rodriguez. Primitivo Arango could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Daniel Duarte made a huge save. Milton Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Reigate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ivan Escalante made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Eraldo Salamanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selvin Cabrera scored 5-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Poulton-Le-Fylde United's zone, Josue Bran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Duarte came out of the goal and Josue Bran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Reigate's Claudio Henriquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. Daniel Duarte came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Reigate's Primitivo Arango. But to his dismay, Primitivo Arango quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-1. If Selvin Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Reigate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
