Isac Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amilcar Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Hermínio Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 9 in the game by Ivan Escalante from a close distance when the talented Isac Gueifão managed to make a qualified save. Armadouro's players were relieved. Daniel Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Ivan Escalante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Gueifão was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Ivan Escalante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Gueifão having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Nicolás Garay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Hermínio Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Amilcar Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Gueifão was a little too slow when Amilcar Morales got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Isac Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selvin Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ivan Escalantes short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Isac Gueifão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Armadouro booed when Poulton-Le-Fylde United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Parada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Armadouro's Hermínio Montenegro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Januário Colaço hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Ivan Escalante rounded Armadouro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Vidal to make the kick off. The Poulton-Le-Fylde United fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Poulton-Le-Fylde United's Ivan Escalante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 59 minutes, Amilcar Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poulton-Le-Fylde United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amilcar Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isac Gueifão came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Poulton-Le-Fylde United's Ivan Escalante. But to his dismay, Ivan Escalante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Ivan Escalante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Gueifão having to make a save. Isac Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Viscarra in the 66th minute of play. Isac Gueifão came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Poulton-Le-Fylde United's Ivan Escalante. But to his dismay, Ivan Escalante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Baltazar Viscarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Isac Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amilcar Morales kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Hélio Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Armadouro booed when Poulton-Le-Fylde United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermínio Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Hermínio Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armadouro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Armadouro's Alfredo Loureiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Duarte. That made the score 7-4 after 85 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Escalante in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Gueifão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Armadouro booed when Poulton-Le-Fylde United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Escalante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Poulton-Le-Fylde United were the better team. Poulton-Le-Fylde United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
