Tobias Rothschild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gennadiy Semin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilya Libusov to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th match minute, FC Eisleben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Niels Wege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Burov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoph Ganz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gennadiy Semin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Tobias Rothschild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gennadiy Semin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Burov took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niels Wege. Niels Wege dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gennadiy Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Rothschild in the 18th minute of play. Niels Wege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Evdokimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilken Winterstein came free, but Gennadiy Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Eisleben's Niels Wege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Alov in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Vladimir Burov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niels Wege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Gennadiy Semin got control of the ball when Mark Walti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Aleksey Evdokimov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Niels Wege was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pavel Alov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Wilken Winterstein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gennadiy Semin. The goal made the score 1-3. When Vladimir Burov came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Burov couldn't finish the play. Niels Wege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Alov in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The wind increased when Pavel Alov made the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Burov took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niels Wege. Niels Wege dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Niels Wege didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Niels Wege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Alov in the 58th minute of the match. After 65 minutes Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mark Walti who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Eisleben's Mark Walti to fire away a dangerous shot which Gennadiy Semin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoph Ganz during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC. Petr Vorontsov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Niels Wege. 1-6. FC Eisleben's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Vladimir Burov scored to the left of an out of position Niels Wege, making the score, 1-7. Niels Wege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Alov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Gennadiy Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Walti in the 79th minute of play. FC Eisleben's Christoph Ganz got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Christoph Ganz off the ground. A collision led to FC Eisleben getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Christoph Ganz hit a great ball. Niels Wege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Alov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niels Wege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergey Ivanov went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
