With a little luck, Sparka & Spring BK's Göran Västberg got control of the ball when Laurențiu Dinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Edvin Dahlbom scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Åke Forss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Ştiubei having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Aurelian Ştiubei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Sparka & Spring BK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dan Holmgren hit a great ball. Aurelian Ştiubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Forss in the 24th minute of play. Karl-Åke Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Osvald Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Ştiubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Ştiubei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Åke Forss's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, FC Buciumii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Magherescu to maneuver through the defense. Dick Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Giubelean was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Taşcău cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Göran Västberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dick Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sparka & Spring BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Ştiubei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dick Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Giubelean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göran Västberg was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Dick Hedlund made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Aurelian Ştiubei would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sven-Edvin Dahlbom took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Aurelian Ştiubei to make any attempt to save it. After 77th play minutes Osvald Brogren shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Aurelian Ştiubei and just under the crossbar into goal. Silviu Bârsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Göran Västberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FC Buciumii from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Sparka & Spring BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Forss to maneuver through the defense. Dick Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Jansson's late challenge caught a FC Buciumii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
