Agus Young came free, but Hector Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Florentino Herauso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Unión De Santa Fe defense, M. Agus Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Fidencio. The Unión De Santa Fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Fidencio should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Bosse Spendrup seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bosse Spendrup the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santa Lucia de Merlo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bosse Spendrup had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santa Lucia de Merlo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Unión De Santa Fe's 狄朗沙 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Herauso. That made the score 2-1 after 21 minutes of play. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄朗沙 in the 26th minute of play. Kostas Skilitsis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Florentino Herauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Arnaldo Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Som in the 36th minute of play. Hector Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Yang Zhan Xiao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Florentino Herauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Manos Briolas in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Santa Lucia de Merlo's Arnaldo Chano. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 狄朗沙 in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Unión De Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Briolas to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Salamon to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Yang Zhan Xiao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unión De Santa Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Lucia de Merlo the free kick. 54 minutes into the match, M. Agus Young had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Fidencio. Unión De Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that M. Agus Young was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Arnaldo Chano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 62nd minute, Unión De Santa Fe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Levan Poggenborg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 70 minutes of play, Unión De Santa Fe's Paskal Ayarza made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Herauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hector Fidencio made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Pascal Som sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Paskal Ayarza came free, but Florentino Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paskal Ayarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 狄朗沙 in the 88th minute of the match. Florentino Herauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 狄朗沙 went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Levan Poggenborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Fidencio having to interfere. Manos Briolas's late challenge caught a Santa Lucia de Merlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manos Briolas helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Unión De Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Manos Briolas. After a rather tough play, Unión De Santa Fe's Arnaldo Vellito got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Pascal Som had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Unión De Santa Fe had won, even though Santa Lucia de Merlo had held more of the ball.
